Worship Arts
School of Music
UBNC is blessed with many talented music instructors. Week after week music is taught and performed on the UBNC campus for the glory of God.
The School of Music at University Blvd. Nazarene Church is training musicians of all ages to better use their talents in the service of the Lord. The School offers private instruction on most band and orchestra instruments, including piano.
The Christian Heritage Academy Band is also offered in our School of Music at UBNC. Home-schooled students are welcome to participate in the band program.
Our Christian faculty
members are degreed and/or have extensive experience in their areas of
instruction. We have teachers for piano, string instruments, brass
instruments, woodwind instruments, guitar, percussion/drum set, and voice.

Brett Norton
Guitar lessons
Brett has been successfully teaching people
how to play guitar for about six years and playing for 13. He’s
taught ages ranging from 6 to 47 to play everything from rock to
blues to entry level Jazz and Classical. His training includes
college level music theory class, formal lessons, and lots of
experience. He’s recorded and played live with Rickey Medlock of
Lynard Skynard and Blackfoot fame, toured the state of Florida as
a front man, guitarist, and singer in a rock band, and spent 10
days auditioning for Kid Rock's band. "I'm a consummate student of
the musical school of hard knocks." |
