Lead Pastor Steve Walker
Pastor Steve Walker has been in ministry for nearly 20 years. He has experiences in many areas of ministry from Lead Pastor to Children’s Pastor. He has served at churches in Washington State, Kansas, Nevada and Pennsylvania. Pastor Steve graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science, then went on to study for his ordination through the Nazarene School of Ministry. Steve married his high school sweetheart, Shari, and they have two grown daughters, Ashley and Stephanie. Devoted Seahawk fans, Steve and Shari love to catch the Hawks games when they can but also enjoy yard work or going to the movies. You can find Steve playing golf on occasion as well.
Ministry Assistant Martha Stephens
Martha has been a member of University Boulevard from 1977-1983 and then 1987 to current. From 1983 to 1987 she served at the Nazarene Headquarters in Kansas City in the Pensions and Benefits office as supervisor in the health insurance area. In 1988 Martha took the position of Church Secretary/Office Administrator here at UBNC. In June of 2000 she went to work as a treatment coordinator for Anderson Orthodontics then returned to the church office as Ministry Assistant in April of 2010. Her favorite pastime is thinking about and spending time with grandsons, Jacob and Zeke.

This team works to ensure that everyone who walks through the doors has the best experience possible. Positions include, Greeters, Ushers, Servers, Response and Fellowship.
This team works to provide quality sound, lighting, video and technical support for all worship experiences. Positions include, audio, lighting, graphics, video photography and much more.
This team believes that no matter your age you can make the difference. This team makes sure that our young friends have a safe, engaging environment to learn and grow.
The worship team works to lead us into worship with music and other elements that will draw us near to God. Each member has a passion for creating an environment that is welcoming to all.
